Ota Pavlíček, PI of the ACADEMIA ERC project, was awarded the 2024 Neuron Prize for promising scientists in the field of social sciences on 19 January 2025. The prestigious Neuron Prize recognises the professional achievements of Czech scientists. International Scientific Council awards prizes in seven categories each year; the Neuron Prize laureates receive a significant financial bonus of ca. € 20.000 thanks to the patrons of the Neuron Foundation. The prize is rarely awarded to researchers in historical humanities.
